ABSORBING THE SHOCKS WITH SPEEDI SLEEVES

M Barnwell Services recently came to the rescue of a company that specialises in the restoration and sale of vintage Rolls Royce cars.

They needed to either repair or replace a worn shaft on the shock absorber of a 1936 Rolls Royce Phantom. Deciding repair would be the better plan they approached Barnwell, as an official distributor of SKF Speedi Sleeves, to discuss a suitable option.

As Barnwell hold one of Europe’s largest stocks of Speedi Sleeves, the required part was identified and found in stock at our West Midlands HQ and despatched the same day, saving the customer costly down time and the expense of a new shaft.

BARNWELL EXHIBITS AT HANNOVER FAIR

M Barnwell Services, the UK’s leading distributor of Fluid Sealing Products had a major presence at this year’s Hanover Industry Fair (Hannover Messe) in Germany.

The event ran from Monday 4th to Friday 8th April 2011 and Director Darren Barnwell, Export Manager David Wilcox and Sales Manager Steven Ratcliffe were kept extremely busy during the week, demonstrating the company’s commitment to fluid sealing technology to a worldwide audience from the Barnwell Services exhibition stand in Hall 4.

The world's foremost technology and innovation event, Hannover Messe 2011 was the most successful for 10 years. At the end-of-show press conference, Deutsche Messe Managing Board Chairman Dr. Wolfram von Fritsch commented: "This year's event has given industry a real boost, powering it up to drive the economic recovery. Hannover Messe 2011 has generated even more momentum for industry, as the force behind the economic upswing. Over 6,500 companies from 65 countries came to Hannover to display their solutions to over 230,000 visitors"

Reflecting on the week, Barnwell's Steven Ratcliffe commented: "This year's show was an excellent opportunity to share our extensive knowledge, vision and expertise of the fluid sealing industry with the many global visitors to the exhibition. We displayed our wide range of Seals, Gaskets and our Image Branding Service on the stand and we were able to offer first hand technical advice on specific applications to both new and existing customers."

BARNWELL LAUNCHES ENCAPSULATED O RINGS RANGE
