Chloroprene (CR) elastomers are homopolymers of chloroprene (chlorobutadiene) and were one of the first synthetic rubbers to be manufactured for sealing use.

Our range of Neoprene O Rings has a remarkable resistance to ageing, ozone, and weathering. They have good mechanical features and present an average resistance to mineral oils. Neoprene O Rings are frequently used in Refrigeration because of their excellent resistance to Freon® (ammonia) and their extensive range of operating temperatures. They are also known as Chloroprene O Rings.

The temperature range can be from –40°C to +120°C (intermittent/compound-specific up to +150°C).

This makes them ideal for industries such as Agriculture, Energy, Marine, Automotive and Earth Moving & Construction.
