Supply issues arose with the main PTFE-coated O-Rings, as they exhibited premature failure due to flaking and breakage of the PTFE coating over time. Additionally, these seals posed installation challenges, leading to product contamination, costly claims, and tarnished supplier reputation.

Collaboratively comprehending the application, we chose MBMS0075REV3 with added friction reduction treatment. This selection ensured contamination-free sealing and straightforward installation, as validated through fit, form, and function tests, where our seal outperformed others.
