High-Performance Specialist Internal and External Flange Seals
M Barnwell Services stock a broad range of Flange Seals that provide the front face static sealing function within flange connections. Specialised to suit SAE Flanges, the seals are manufactured from high performing materials that will withstand arduous sealing applications.
The Flange Seals offer enhanced sealing performance that in some cases can outperform an O Ring for the same application. With their rectangular cross-section and point contact sealing lips, they accurately fit the machined housing. Designs can be optimized to be insensitive to pressure peaks, media resistance and high extrusion resistance.
These products are commonly used as a fluid sealing solution within the Automotive, Hydraulics and Earth Moving and Construction industries.

SAE Flange Seal Kits
M Barnwell Services also provides a Flange Seal Kit that is designed to suit SAE J518 location grooves. Manufactured from a high operating Polyurethane it offers excellent resistance to gap extrusion and compression set over a wide temperature range of -40°C to +110°C and up to 400 Bar.
