About Carboxylated Nitrile and its Features:

Carboxylated Nitrile (XNBR) is a Nitrile (NBR) with Carboxyl added to the formulation.

Use of Carboxylated Nitrile elastomer can have improved abrasion resistance, while still retaining an excellent oil resistance.

The temperature range is between -55°C and +135°C.

Hardness range between 50 and 90 Shore A.

Its physical properties include an excellent tear, impact and abrasion resistance, as well as good gas permeability, resilience and steam resistance, and a good compression set.

Key uses of Carboxylated Nitrile O Rings are hoses, rubber belts, dynamic assemblies such as seals and rod wipers, reciprocating applications. Furthermore, they can be used with petroleum oils and water.
